Lemme step up on my soapbox and get this off my chest….
IF YOU DON’T WANT SOMEONE TO TAKE PHOTOS, WOULD YA PLEASE BOTH TO EITHER MENTION IT AT THE BEGINNING OF YOUR “PRESENTATION” OR ON A FRICKIN’ SIGN BY THE NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES!!!!! I AM SORRY FOR THE CAPS, BUT I HAVE HAD IT!
Is it really THAT tough to GIVE someone the COURTESY to let them know YOUR wishes ahead of time, vs “Uh sir we don’t want photos ….”
Mom & Dad are going to a Dia De Los Muertos event today (Dia De Los Muertos actually runs Oct 31 - Nov 2) while it sounds morbid, it actually isn’t as it is paying respect and tribute to those who are no longer here (for me in my Dog life.. I can think of our cats, Bix and Chelan).

So Mom & Dad went to the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phx and really said it was a nice day (but just a bit too windy), went they got home we of course got to go outside and it was much cooler than it has been since… March (maybe…?).
Dad of course took a ton of photos (SEE HERE) and Mom says he got some good ones.
Apparently Dad was just a little too out of it as he went the wrong direction with the ISO and is a bit UNHAPPY with most of the shots he got from last night latest storm as most of the lightning shots are “blown out”…. guess the lack of sleep from Thursday’s storm caught up with him…
and Dad is PISSED OFF… STRONG winds a really strong storm came into our area Thursday night and knocked over his Mesquite … (which was not the birthday present Dad wanted for his birthday)

Mom did get him a cool pizza (that I am hoping he shares, a dog can hope, right?) for his 38th B-day..
Updates to come in the daylight, but we have a 2nd strong storm coming shortly so I have to get ready for that one!!
Dad had ABC15 over today and they were running a little late as they were supposed to here at 5pm.. but were about 20+ minute late. Once they did arrive Dad put us outside to wait and be out of the way on the patio, thankfully there is shade and yes it got a little warm but we were OK and they wanted to know why he (and us) watch ABC15.
They were here for about an hour and a half shooting shots out front with Dad speaking and then by their news truck and such.

Dad and the guys from ABC15 came back inside (while we still were waiting on the patio in the shade) and they asked him questions about What, Why, How long, What he likes etc. about ABC15. The promos are to air soon here in Phoenix.

Tonite we have some in the area and Dad thinks they are so cool, and is hoping for some much needed rain. I on the otherhand get a little scared sometimes, then Dad calls me a pansy… maybe he is right…
So Mom & Dad, went to the Phx public market on Saturday and said it was kinda small since it is the summer and all. They plan to check it out again in October and then if they will bring my Grandparents from Seattle to go check it out at Christmas. I got NOTHIN’ from the market… figures!
But later on they stopped by the 3 Dog Bakery and got me and Nick something Yummy!

Sunday, Mom & Dad went to see a movie (Swing Vote) Dad liked it, but Mom wasn’t as thrilled after it was over. They also went to Costco (they are exciting aren’t they?) and grilled some pork chops, Nick and I got a little sample!
The cats reminded me that I forgot to mention that they got a cool cat toy as well (BTW, Simba LOVES it!)
